I think the reason Tip has maintained so hot is the fact that he never ’sold out’. He always keeps it true to hip hop and himself. I think so many artists today forget who they are and what they stand for……”get on this conscious dick” from Common -nuff said.

I agree! I was just listening to “The shit (remix)” w/ J. Dilla, Slum Village and Q-Tip. Great classic joint. As far as I’m concerned, everything Tip touches turns to gold. He is legendary!
