It is great to see a artist like you still performing and doing it ever so well .We often throw around the word Artist so freely and use it for many in the business that are not true artists, but in your case that is so not the issue you are an Artist.
To be at the top and to be able to bring music to us that is soothing and able to get us to dance around but also catch the message between the fun is a skill , a talent, which you have.
I hope that we are able to be blessed with your music for many years to come.

hey Common, lovin’ your sound…I started liken’ your style a few years back when I saw you on Colors TV channel and if I can recollect, you were on Neo Soul and you were reading some poetry. Your words melted me that day. I don’t know what it was. I guess it was in the way you went on to say… your thoughts….. Then I started finding more and more of your songs and you with other artists. I like when artist work together these days, because it gives you the best of both worlds. It brings out the different styles and techniques of that artist. When I say artist, I mean that. You paint a picture in my mind when I listen to your lyrics. I am a writer and an artist also. So, sometimes I am a little eccentric with my words. (Sorry) I like that you really speak your mind and some of the things you say might be hard for some folk to take in. but, I respect that about you. I’ve been to at least 5 of your shows in L.A. in the past year. Every one of them have been amazing and the energy is so high. Keep up the good work. I have only had the opportunity to see you once when you were at the rise festival in London and it was hyped…. but one venue I think you should maybe do is the Jazz Cafe..but keep doing what you do its great to have a MC that has longevity and is still hungry, as alot seem to make it big and then the music seems to just lose its passion!
