The stuff looks cool, but I don’t have much respect for this as “art”. He’s not “painting portraits”, he’s copying a photo. He probably reprinted the photos in high contrast before tracing them. No skill. Stealing other peoples photos (their art) and reproducing it on a street sign is kind of clever, but nothing too impressive. Is he paying royalties to any photographers? These are all famous images that somebody else created. Photographers are always getting shafted by “artists” like this.
