Is it me or is Italian Vogue the only non urban fashion mag that like their women dark, lol. I know it’s a theme but it was also a trend in their ‘all black issue’.
Regardless…I love this image, very powerful,.love how Italian /vogue (the fashion bible) have embrassed beauty, beyond mainstream programming.

I Need to see more of it to grasp the idea behind it.

Beyonce would have killed this, the concept ‘Extreme couture’ seems to be more her style….

Although Rihanna does look fabulous and more like a model then pop icon….which i cant denied her, really good shot!!

While I understand the bigger, more important picture is that Rihanna, a woman of color, is undoubtedly working the cover of this prestigious fashion mag when most play Black women to the left, I can’t help but screw my face that she has a “personal” style created by puppeteers of the industry . Doesn’t seem to be a reflection of who she is artistically…whoever or whatever that may be. Nevertheless…props to Vogue Italia for equating Black and Beautiful.

This is amazing. True Grace Jones right here. She’s taking us back to her modeling roots.. before all the lights and records, pictures and beauty pagents was rihanna. I love this. Just heard about this cover and I hope somewhere I can pick this up as a keep sake. I love this girl for her art. Very impressive.
