Yeah I also saw that Kanye’s College Drop out was named one of the album’s of the decade. I think that was right on point. I believe that album is a turning point in hip hop. Definitely a classic album that will always hit home. He deserves all the recognition!

Kanye can be an asshole sometimes, but to me, he’s the greatest rapper of all time!! I’m happy for him and can’t wait till he makes a dramatic comeback!!!!

I’ll admit that in terms of commercial hiphop, kanye’s debut was a high watermark of the decade. However, there are considerably greater artistic achievements that simply didn’t get the corporate backing he had.
Good album that moved hip-pop in a better direction, but he isn’t the savior he makes himself out to be. (And for the record, neither is that other egomaniac, Nas).

Ironic that Taylor Swift and Kanye were named top male and female artist of 2009…
Kanye is definitely an amazing attribute to Hip-Hop. He is profoundly unique and has a menacing way with words. He’s not one to sleep on. Never has been, never will be.
Respect and praise given where respect and praise is due. Kanye is an artist to be praised and deserves the utmost respect due to his contributions to Hip-Hop and music in general. His testimony is one that will continue to inspire many.
Big ups to Kanye. Congrats!
