I began writing as a young girl and has always had a spirit for self expression through writing. Never without a pen and pad, I kept a journal of every thought, misunderstanding, challenge and success in my life.

I'm a native southerner growing up in Houston, Texas. I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, where I became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in Global Management, from the University of Phoenix.
