I started working on garage doors as a teenager. My father was in the occupation and during summer time school vacations I would go on service calls with him. He started me off doing all the lifting and toting. He was forever giving me the benefit of his years in the business. I suppose I absorped it pretty well. After I got out of the Air Force I joined another garage door company and went to work as a specialist. I found that the trade suited my desire to help people with their problems. I found a great deal of pleasure in doing the work and also making long term customers. source
